Fair play is the foundation of the Billion Challenge. These rules ensure everyone has an equal opportunity to compete and succeed.

Eligibility
- Open to participants aged 13 and older worldwide
- Participants under 18 require parental consent
- One account per person—multiple accounts result in disqualification
- No geographic restrictions; participants from all countries welcome

Step Counting
- Only walking and running steps count towards your total
- Steps must be recorded through an approved device or app
- Manual entry is not permitted to ensure accuracy
- Steps are counted in real-time and synced automatically
- Historical steps (before joining) do not count

Fair Play
- Artificial step generation (shaking devices, vehicles, etc.) is prohibited
- Using bots, scripts, or automation tools results in permanent ban
- Sharing accounts or credentials is not allowed
- Our fraud detection system monitors for suspicious activity
- Violations result in removal of steps and possible account suspension

Leaderboard
- Rankings update in real-time based on verified steps
- Ties are broken by who reached the step count first
- Leaderboard positions are for recognition only unless specified otherwise
- Team rankings are calculated by combined member steps

Data & Privacy
- We only collect step count and basic activity data
- Your data is never sold to third parties
- You can delete your account and data at any time

Rewards & Recognition
- Badges are earned automatically when milestones are reached
- Prize eligibility requires maintaining fair play standards
- Winners may be required to verify their identity
- Prizes are non-transferable unless otherwise stated
